Tabitha PottsI’m very sorry to have to say that we have recently received messages from several authors saying that they have been contacted and asked to appear on the show. This is impersonation and a scam. We have reported the offending email senders to the relevant authorities in the UK. We do not approach authors out of the blue to appear on the show – they tend to email us or their literary agents do – and we never charge our interviewees.
We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company so you can donate to us but we do not charge authors as our mission is to benefit the writing community. To send us a story or ask to appear on the show, please go to our Submissions Page. For information about scammers, please visit the Society of Authors page on how to avoid them.
